• Situated in a quiet location beside the Avon river.  Close to the city yet far enough away, to miss the hustle and bustle, and traffic noises of the city.
• Close to the CBD.  Only five minutes by car to the city centre, 10 minutes by bus, or a thirty minute walk along the banks of the beautiful Avon river.
• Spacious double rooms with ensuites.  The Rimu Room and the Oak Room are both very spacious, with views looking out over the garden and the river.
• Large garden with swimming pool.  There is a very large garden and lawn which you are welcome to wander in.  There is an outdoor table and chairs beside the pool if you want to relax and read a book after a swim.
• Continental and/or cooked breakfast.  Breakfast each morning is served in the dining room between 7.30am and 9am.  Early breakfasts for those catching trains or planes are by arrangement.
• Restaurants within walking distance.  There are several restaurants for you to choose from within a fifteen to twenty minute walk, or there are many restaurants in the city to suit all tastes. 
• Rugby World Cup 2011 - Only a 20 - 30 minute walk from B & B to Stadium Christchurch, the venue for matches being played in Christchurch.

Home away from home...

City stay without all the hustle and bustle, located in a quiet residential spot on the Avon River, lovely peaceful 20-30 min stroll to the heart of the city along the river. Well appointed rooms in a beautiful house, which was spotlessly clean. A hearty cooked breakfast available with friendly hospitality. Certainly worth a second visit if ever back in CC.
